I was wondering if anyone is aware of new works done on variable electromotive-force (flux) generators for hybrid vehicles. I have worked on the attached paper which is mechanical approach in adjusting the flux to increase the efficiency and operational range. However, I am just aware of one company working on this concept. I would appreciate it if anyone could share similar works with me.

Note: I have seen similar works on PM generators. But, they mostly have used a different approach.
