Right now I am aware of Springer's Marketing Letters (http://www.springer.com/business+%26+management/marketing/journal/11002) publishing papers below 5.000 words all inclusive and Elsevier's Journal of Business Venturing Insights (http://www.journals.elsevier.com/journal-of-business-venturing-insights) interested in papers below 2.000 words excl. references. I would appreciate any other ideas for journals in business and management that allow for rapid dissemination of results.
We published recently the following article:

There are many peer reviewed open access journals who are also willing to publish short comments etc. However some charge quite a lot so look up the fees before.

As you know (I just cite them as a reminder, and for the reader), there are, in economics, Economics Letters and Applied Economics Letters (that incorporates Applied Financial Economics Letters).
But you refer explicitly to Business and Management ! Please, see Operations Research Letters: "a publication for literature on all aspects of operations research and the management and decision sciences" (journal website).

The reason why I was asking for journals that explicitly focus on letters and notes is that my experience with "standard" journals that merely have notes as one of their potential paper types is that the referees tend to ignore that you were submitting a note. That is, with such journals one is likely to receive criticism like "this paper is theoretically underdeveloped and other essential parts are missing as well" - which is obvious, because one intended to write a short note.

Wiley's "Strategic Change: Briefings in Entrepreneurial Finance" could be considered a Letters Journal as well as it publishes papers from 2.500 words.
