According to my observations, the political class in most African countries appears to be uninterested in development that benefits the public. The majority of development is centred in metropolitan and peri-urban areas, to the detriment of rural communities.

Analyzing recent developments across Africa, I have observed promising signs of PanAfricanism Development emerging within the region, particularly reflected in the actions of the current set of leaders. While progress is being made in various areas such as financial independence, technology development, and sustainable governance, there are notable variations among countries in terms of their growth trajectories and achievements in these realms.
One key aspect deserving attention is the presence of economic and development inequality. The growth levels observed in different countries are influenced by a variety of factors unique to each nation. Taking Nigeria as an example, while some advancements in social and community development can be witnessed, the pace of progress is not as rapid as one might expect. This can be attributed, at least partially, to the priorities and focal points of the current government in power.
It is important for researchers and policymakers alike to closely examine the dynamics at play within each country to better understand the factors that hinder or facilitate progress. By doing so, we can identify effective strategies to address the challenges faced by these nations and strive for more inclusive and sustainable development across Africa as a whole.
In most African countries during much of time Africa's political class was the impediment for development. Clientelistic relations and seeking for quick results are the main reasons for that.
