How do I interpret the results if all the direct relations between IV, DV and Moderation are positive but moderation effect itself has a negative beta.... Following are my results:
2. Mod --> DV (Beta= .496, p-value= .000) 3. Mod --> IV (Beta= .465, p-value= .000) 4. Mod*IV ---> DV (Beta= -.0910, p-value= .0008)

Sidra, a negative interaction can be interpreted as follows: If you increase your moderator variable by one standard deviation (for standardized variables the value is +1), then the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable is reduced by -.091. For each further increase in the moderator variable, this effect is again reduced by the same amount.

It depends on the nature of both IV and Mod. There could be four cases 1) both IV and Mod are categorical variable 2) IV is continuous and Mod is categorical 3) IV is Categorical and Mod is continuous 4) both are continuous
Interpretation will differ for all four cases
Normally it is case 2 in management studies. If it is a case 2 and Mod consist of two categories (i.e. 0 and 1) then above results can be interpreted as
Increase in IV will increase DV by .540 when Mod is categorized as 0
Increase in IV will increase DV by 0.44 (0.540 - 0.0910) when Mod is categorized as 1
This shows that for category 1 the impact of IV on DV is less than 0.0910.
