I realize that you do not know me. I entered the research world to find solutions that are not available in the practitioner layperson world. i found them.

in the spirit of universal psychology, without borders, i foresee the need for a global accreditation body for continuing education credits, with scientific representation from many countries and interactive sciences, to facilitate quicker recognition of cutting edge solutions, from all over the world, from every culture. This accreditation body would not be subject to the limitations of old ivy league men's club bias, nor subject to pressures from special interests.

An initial board of scientists from many countries, with a diversity of scientific specialty would oversee acceptance of protocol for accreditation. So that continuing education credits would count towards licensure fulfillment. Eventually such a global accreditation board would be the highest level of accreditation, above the level of state, and even country accreditation bodies. Granted the initial global accreditation body might not have any real power, but it would serve as a place order for the future.

If you can dream it, you can build it. I am asking for the help, assistance and guidance of "can do" scientists who wish to bring the future to the patient now. not waiting for new solutions to filter through a broken, bottlenecked system, perhaps one that is even intentionally slow to change, so that those who profit from the status quo can continue to do so.

Not on my watch. Elizabeth Gilley
