When you choose to manage the consequences of a problematic situation, you are strategically addressing contingencies, at best. From this perspective, you are not solving the problem, you are adapting to its effect with the least possible impact. That should be clear to you.

Rafael, if you have problem for example a water leak, a pollution leak... this problem has a root-cause and it has consequences.... Can you solve that problem by managing the consequences and leaving the root cause actively producing more consequences while you manage some of the consequences?
