Hi Maria, we met on the project you led when at York. Would you consider a short - 3000 words or so - chapter that makes the case for why sport and exercise researchers, disabled para-athletes, and sport organisations need to engage with activism rather than simply focusing on performance? We recently published a paper that we’d like to expand on in terms of developing the argument for why people in sport need to engage with disability activism.

That sounds great! Would love to read it. I am not the only editor who decides but I don't think we have had any submissions linked to disability and sport! At this stage you would just need to send an abstract. If you want to develop a shorter style article later that's fine. Thanks so much for your question and sharing your articles. I hope this inspires more people to submit or share their research. The idea behind the book was to create a place or forum to show how exciting, innovative and important disability activism has become. We decided to leave the format more open to ensure accessibility and creativity.
