I'm seeking publications that examine the electromagnetic interaction effect of two bound electrons in an atom, specifically:
- Approached ab initio on the basis of quantum electrodynamics
- Using the Wichmann-Kroll potential
I'm particularly interested in this topic as part of my research on atomic structure calculations. While I'm specifically looking for papers using the Wichmann-Kroll potential, I'm also open to similar approaches that might be relevant. Dear Frank The size of atom is about 1,000,000th human hair. Can you imagine the size of "electron'?
FYI, nothing inside of atom never been observed (Proton/neutron electron) to this date, because science believes standard modeling of atom is correct, but to this date everything is just theory.
In the other hand, one or two-dimension of our math cannot describe three-dimension of nature that it is changing constantly.
Additionally, our math does not recognize temperature, pressure, size, colors, taste, smells, character... of nature, while atoms do.
Simply, our universe has unit and that is atom. and it does not work mechanically as you think.

Try writing to Prof. Iwo Bialynicki-Birula ([email protected]). He is about 90 years old and I don't know whether he is still active in research or not. Anyway, he is one of renowned experts in fundamental QED.
