I am trying to code the Bounding Surface SANICLAY Model (developed by Seidalinov and Taiebat, 2014) in the Mathcad. I would like to know what are the initial values of the pc and qc (the center of the loading surface and/or PC) in this model? Thanks in advance.

Hi Mohammad, this is a very good question. I would recommend to using initial position of the projection centre at the origin of the stress space, and keep in mind that this will have no effect if you start cyclic loading (i assume this is what you are after) from NC state. For OC state I would recommend using projection centre in the vicinity of your initial stress state, this will mimic a stress reversal case.
