The intention of the ASUDAS plaques was to produce standard parameters for scoring morphological traits that can be reproduced consistently between observers. For uniformity, these plaques are used to give a visual description for many of the traits.

I request the scientists/anthropologists/forensic odontologists working in this field to share:

1.       Relevant documents about the scoring system of these plaques

2.       Experiences regarding ASUDAS

3.       Any technical pros and cons about the application

4.       Any latest developments.

5.       How much is reliability of the system

6.       Any adaptations/modifications required when used on a particular population.

Response and a brain storming discussion awaited.

PS: I have special interest in: Shoveling:, Carabelli's Trait.
