For Sorghum bicolour (sorghum) in India we follow 200 m for FS (foundation class of seeds), 100m isolation for CS(certified class of seeds) and 400m for Forage sorghum with high tillering and grassy panicle.
Seed standards
Pure seed (minimum)-98.0%
Inert matter (maximum)- 2.0%
Other crop seeds (maximum)- 5/kg, 10/kg(FS and CS respectively)
Weed seeds (maximum)-5/kg, 10/kg(FS and CS respectively)
Other distinguishable varieties (maximum)- 10/kg, 20/kg (FS and CS respectively)
Germination (minimum)-75%
Moisture (maximum)-12.0% (8%-For vapour-proof containers)
