Hello, I provide jugular vein catheterization in mice and my problem is that often during clamp mice exhibit some kind of infiltration manifested as "sack" on the operated side of neck. When I opened the operation wound (in euthanised mouse) and push the fluid into catheter I could see the outflow from the part of vein where the catheter was inserted and my question is, how to prevent it? I tried to more/less tighten the ligature, make longer/shorter tip of catheter (I use silicon catheter with small silicon ball for better position) but with no success. Thank you very much for your help
