I have interest to know which parts are manufactured in magnesium, what industries use this parts and why this material is chosen?

I cant go in depth, but will brief you in some points,
1. Aerospace - Thrust reversers for the Boeing 737, 747, 757, and 767. (Mg)
2. Automotive - gearbox, steering column and driver’s air bag housings as well as in steering wheels, seat frames and fuel tank covers. - Used by Audi, Daimler Chrysler (Mercedes-Benz), Ford, Jaguar, Fiat and Kia Motors Corporation. (Mg)
Magnesium roof components - Used in Chevrolet Corvette - Because of it fives extra structural stiffness and keep the vehicle’s center of gravity low.
Magnesium alloy AM50 - Used Porsche Panamera sedan - in window frames in order to reduce weight and place the vehicle’s center of gravity as low as possible
3. Sports - handles of archery bows, vaulting poles.(Used because minimal twisting due to their high torsional strain resistance) (Mg)
Magnesium frames in racing handcycles and sports wheelchairs. Each chair and
hand cycle’s magnesium frame is handcrafted and custom-welded to stringent specifications - Lasher Sport, LLC, Anchorage Alaska.
4. Medical -
Wrought magnesium AZ31B-H24 - orthopedic knee braces - The 20.50 Patellofemoral, AXIOM Mg Custom and Z-12 Magnesium ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) knee braces feature ultra-lightweight, low profile designs. Their high-strength magnesium components exhibit tremendous force resistance to

Another use of magnesium is for cathodic protection anodes for pipelines, tank bottoms and buried tanks. Mg is selected in this application for it reactivity and electrochemical current capacity.
But by far the largest tonnage of Mg that is produced is used as an alloying element for aluminum based materials.

Companies like Oakley have patents filed on use of it as a spectacle frame material for their sporty look frames
