Hello!
I would need to orientate myself in one aspect of the industrial production of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies.
I understand the technologies used for their development (hybrioma, phage display, transgenic mouse, single B cell...). But are these technologies used for the massive production of therapeutic antibodies, or are they only used for their development, and a suitable gene is then transferred to a cell line (for example, CHO) that is massively cultured in bioreactors? If someone asked you how rituximab is prepared in the company (not in the development laboratory), what would you say? Thanks!
