I am investigating career shocks, and using Seibert et al. (2013, 2016) scale. However, these account for shocks that happen within the organizational setting, and I am also interested in individual-level shocks (like having a baby or having a spouse transferred for example). I am having a lot of difficulty finding a proper scale for this. If you have published something along these lines, could you please let me know? (Also pointing out here to a gap in the literature, I suppose!!). Thanks!
