I don't know, why people give 1- 2 sentences answers (even though we are well familiar to those illogical things). OR they will recommend bundles of publications' link which can be downloaded via NCBI.
The persons who asked the question, is just demanding for your simple, concise or 1_4 paragraphic answers.
I do understand everyone has a right to give their opinions but don't mislead others.
Yes it's good to provide link for knowing further information but just a link is not that enough.
Sana Arshad – there is a difference between expecting people to fix a problem for you and than giving you indications of how the problem might be fixed, or links to publications that would help. RG tends to offer help rather than fixes.
The other reason for short answers is that questions often don't give enough background information about study design and hypotheses for anything more than a short, general answer.

if you don't know, then it's okay. But why they give preference to do misguide or waste someone's time?

I regard speculating on people's motives as far less useful than learning from their behaviour.
Anyway, for every strange, illogical or self-promoting answer, you will find many helpful ones.

Sometimes you need to provide a concise and brief but informative answer. It is not always good enough though. It is rational rather than absolute depending on many things loke the type of question, information needed, and knowledge of who provides the answer.

and all those unethical answers which were just related to more annoying statements.
I raised the voice for all those strugglers who are just on their initial research steps. They just come here to seek some guidelines related to their mystifying research projects.

Sana Arshad – I have a feeling that some people think that you can improve your RG score by leaving essentially placebo answers to questions. They are, thankfully, few in number.
Hi, dear sana irshad, you are correct, but somtimes, researchers put answers for questions, which are already reported somewhere. By saying, leave it, is simply pointing out on their abilities. and putting a link for proper question , means that you should read....as every times you dont expect spoon feeding....you have to find...
and it offcourse doesnt necessarily to indicates their eligibility or higher qualification. Be polite on this platform.
Ideally a link should only be used in conjunction with a reference to a specific paragraph that is directly related to the point being discussed. And no more than two links, at the very most, should be used in any single answer, and they should be inserted within the part of the text to which they relate, rather than as like in a list of references at the end. Preferably it should just be one link, and the reasons for providing the link should have been made clear in the text, such as to induce any interested reader to follow it up.
When someone answers a question by giving a batch of about five links to lengthy articles, or even books, and without any specific references to chapters, sections, or equations, it is highly likely that those links will be ignored and the question treated as if it hasn't been answered.
One should never present a full article to another person as a starting point.They will never read it unless you have got them interested initially through preliminary discussion and having mutually established the significant issues.
