I am trying to test sterile and non-sterile pharma products which contain some antibiotics, such as chloramphenicol, tetracyclines, gentimycin, metronidazole etc., and I am trying to find out which inactivating agents should I use to neutralize the antibiotics in the product?
The USP gives guidelines only for inactivating agents for conservatives, but not specifically for antibiotics.
Would appreciate any related explanation.

Enzymatic inactivation of some antimicrobials are in practice. eg., penicillinases for penicillin. Im not sure of others but i believe most of these antimicrobials have enzymes that can neutralize them

@Alireza I am already doing filtration and then rinsing with the right solution to inactivate the conservatives (such as pharmacop. Diluent with polysorbate 80), but I am
not sure if I need some additional inactivating agents targeted for antibiotics in my sample.
In other words, should (1:10) dilution with subsequent filtration suffice to "inactivate" the antibiotics?
filtration do not deactivate antibiotics, just can remove them from your solution if your particle solution was bigger than filter pore size,so dialysis too.
