Regardless of the countless benefits from the innovative technology of industry 4.0, new risks are also generated in parallel. Even "acceptable" risks are different for different individuals and organizations, and their consequences involve harm (or death) to human beings.

My vision is: the new risks in the current manufacturing industry are related to psychosocial risk factors at work. It's easy to understand why.
We live in a chaotic world, with economic, bureaucratic, and technological changes every day. It is not easy for the worker who is connected with mass production, he has been trained to perform that function and many depend only on it. With increased competition and unemployment, these workers tend to work twice as many hours, and many companies do not provide adequate support, both psychological and physical.
It is a great discussion, this is just an indication of this issue.

I think we must first divide risks into types. Risks associated with personnel; production risks; managerial, psychological, environmental, etc. Then identify those risks that have existed for many years, and those that could potentially arise in the course of Industry 4.0.
If we consider the constant and necessary updating of equipment to improve product quality and reduce human labor, then we need to think about additional financial costs and the disposal or re-equipment of old equipment for other purposes, and the optimization of the technological chain. And of course, create a development strategy taking into account green technologies and respect for nature! Environmental safety is currently the most important issue!
