I don't have any requirement in particle size, just need to grind samples as uniformly as I can, they have to be frozen (I can't dry them) and fibers tend to be a huge problem if I don't find a trick to get rid of them. Do you think that freezing and hardening with dry ice may help? Would you use liquid nitrogen + mortar instead?

PS I'm looking for water soluble carbohydrates by HPLC.
