Social Inclusion is really a complex global challenge, affecting developed ,developing and under developed countries alike. What may be the creative and effective ways to have successful social inclusion, particularly in third world countries.
There is the immense challenge of creating work. It is the first step of social inclusion in any part of the world, but especially in the least developed countries.
There is much work done on the paradigm of social exclusion.
I have always tried to make it relevant to the countries of the global South so its not just a European concept.

one way is to do something that is meaningful for a big group of people, and then do it in such a way, that people can join easily and contribute with minimal effort. We did something like that in our SENSEI initiative :)
