Calculate the sound attenuation function. Sound attenuation is determined only by the length of the acoustic wave. 2. Losses do not depend on frequency, but depend on the depth of the emitter and receiver and on the bottom topography. The final received SNR should be higher than the receiver sensitivity. So from the receiver sensitivity work back to find out the distance (range).
