Condylar fractures in children are usually green stick type fractures, especially in very young children. We use full coverage maxillary occlusal splint having increase Hight (with additional acrylic thickness) posteriorly. It creates anterior open bite and provide traction at the condylar head region. The traction at condyle prevents traumatic relationship with the fossa and relieves pain. The increase space due to traction helps in healing and prevents ankylosis which is one of the complications of condylar fracture in children. The movement is not restricted. Healing and remodeling is promoted due to continuous function. only upper jaw impression is enough.
