In the annealed sample some misorientation structures still remain (of course, they are much less than deformed samples), someone suggested the misorientation structures observed within annealed gains might be caused by elastic strain gradient. I do not quite understand the role of elastic bending. I guess it might be generated due to mismatch of anisotropic thermal expansion of different grains. I wonder what is the understanding of experts in this field.
The misorientations present in the annealed sample could also results from the precision limits of EBSD. For example, if you increase the gain on the camera, you will see an increase in the small angle misorientations within a grain. You can also see some level of misorientations due to the sample preparation used.
It would be useful to know the level of misorientations you are observing in the recrystallized sample.
