Similar to "taxa," Is there a corollary term in systems biology that designates different nested scale levels of homeostasis? (And if there isn't one, any ideas on what a good word might be?)

e.g. (in hypothetical order of nested-ness):

(note: H = homeostasis)

  • cellular H 
  • organism level H
  • dyadic niche H (e.g. mother-infant co-regulation)
  • social niche H (see: Social Baseline Theory)
  • bioregional / ecological niche H
  • circadian H
  • planetary H (see article linked below)

The above is just a brainstormed list (no claims made as to its scientific validity, though I do think some of these scale levels are intuitive.) There are likely other nested levels of scale not represented here.
