Hi all

I read somewhere that an optomechanical system in the resolved sideband with k/w_m < 1 implies that the ratio (in absolute value) g_L/g_Q should also be < 1. 

I would like to know if this is the case for all optomechanical systems.

If yes, does it means that when k/w_m > 1 then (in absolute value) g_L/g_Q > 1 ? and if k/w_m =1 then (in absolute value) g_L/g_Q = 1 ?

k is the cavity decay rate

w_m is the mechanical frequency

g_L is the linear coupling constant

g_Q is the quadratic coupling constant
