In the preparation i have not used any carbon source. But i am getting C=O, C-O, C-H, O-H streching. I want refernce for these streching for the my sample.
ZnO FTIR stretching bands are observed around 433 cm-1. The reason behind observing CO2 stretching bands is due to background CO2 in spectrometer. So it should be fine. Similarly OH stretchig peaks are due to moisture which is unavoidable. So if you observing bands at around 433 cm-1, your data for ZnO should be fine.
(i) Have you used any surfactant or stabilizing agent such as Cetyl trimethylammonium bromide (CTAB), Sodium oleate, Trisodium citrate (TSC), etc for the synthesis of ZnO?
(ii) Have you performed the FTIR in solid or in liquid, if in liquid then which solvent you have used for the FTIR measurement?
