Perhaps you did'nt search PubMed fot 'Pneumonia in cats'.

That's because the cats did not have pneumonia, and maybe you are biased already. No cat wish to have pneumonia just like any human being. Negative result is a result. Zero prevalence is good for sureveillance. Your study maybe a baseline and reference for future studies. So cheer up, you have your result.

hi my friend, I think that is because of cats are more resistant to the pneumonia because of adaptation with environment.

you can Increase the number of samples and expand the search area

Please give us more details concerning the study - study population, sample plan including design prevalence, how you tested the cats etc.

Reasons for apparent zero prevalence include:

1. Possibly there were no cases in the population

2. Pneumonia has high case fatality rate in cats so it eliminated cases

3. Not enough samples to detect pneumonia at the level that it exists in the population

4. Poor sensitivity of your diagnostic test(s)
