Dear all,
a good publication in 2004 year by many researchers at the steel construction institute has been published. In result of this research an appropriate answer for the costs of structural members presented.
Result:
Cost of structural member in both structure (concrete and steel) is only between (5 - 13 %) percent of total building cost.
In this research structural members involve roof, stairs, foundation and walls.
It seems true but with adding beams, columns, braces, ... this percent reach to 30%.
