What issues must contain a proposal of teaching, based on research? My thesis was on diagnosis about logical knowledge of teachers in service. Now, I think that it is necessary to develop a proposal focused in noticed errors.

I think one issue is teaching "students" and not teaching the subject "Math." In the case of the latter, teachers tend to focus on the content rather than the students. If they focus on the students, then they choose authentic content and learning activities that relate to the students' everyday lives, especially for Math.
Another issue is accommodating the diverse cultural backgrounds of students, which I have attached as an article that I hope can be useful.
One final issue is integrating technology into teaching, which should be done by putting pedagogy before technology and not the other way around. I have attached another article that can be useful in knowing how much multimedia to include in PPTs.

Hi Luis,
We have focused on the progression of how students' thinking progresses over time when we deliver professional development. Teachers build content knowledge and pedagogical knowledge at the same time. In addition, more teachers who are typically scared of mathematics or don't have a strong background in mathematics tend to be pulled into the mathematics and feel more success. I recently completed a study on how educators teach future teachers with regard to mahematics in primary schools. We did an experiment in how a more preactice based training in teacher college could improve future teachers understanding of whole numbers. The students felt that they were better prepared but their results on a test did not suggest differences compared to peer future teachers. This finding suggests that educators are not really aware of how their students progress mathematics knowledge. Does this finding help you? Best wishes, Diny van der Aalsvoort

Después de revisar estudios de formación de docentes para el caso de nuestro país, considero que se deben formar docentes de matemáticas primeramente que dominen los principios básicas de la disciplina, como segundo bloque como aprender a desarrollar capacidades cognitivas con el desarrollo de pensamiento lógico, posteriormente otro bloque con estrategias para matematizar la matemática, al respecto puedo enviarle propuestas de enseñanza de matemática a través del enfoque de habilidades para la vida que utiliza la OCDE en la prueba PISA .
