I was curious to know what is the function of PEG and Triton X-100 while preparing electrode by doctor blade method or spin coat method. Is it for good attachment with the FTO? . Also if my sample is not stable beyond 320 degree celcius (in N2 atmoshphere) and unstable beyond 120 degrees in open air, then is it wise to use PEG as the binder to prepare electrode by doctor blade method? what would be the ideal ration between sample and PEG to completely remove PEG after annealing of the doctor bladed film on FTO? Can anyone please suggest some other alternatives for PEG so that i can get a good attachment of my sample and get get of the binder after annealing the deposited film on FTO at 300 degrees (N2 atmoshphere).
Thank you very much
