My final project is analyze the stress and the strain on modified bevel gear with Ansys Workbench. First I did convergence test to check my bevel gear mesh in the static structural analysis because I couldn't do that in transient structural, I click convergence test on my result then it went automatically. then after i had convergence test my mesh is developed automatically, I got very good mesh and convergence result. But I confuse how to export the mesh that I get from convergence test in static structural to my transient structural, the mesh that I get from the convergence test is the mesh that i needed. if anyone know about this, please help me. Thanks.
Right click on static structural and replace with transient structural. If this do not support on your version, open another transient structural within workbench and drag and drop model from static to transient.
Masud Rana I think i can't do it directly because the convergence mesh in the solution not in the mesh model part, but still try it and get this error
Why don't you refresh model on static structural?
If it still not working, you have to write input file from model and read using external model.
Thanks sir, now I have finished my final task. And have found the solution by manually control the mesh size so I can export to another model.
