Please I need help on the formula /process on how to go about computing the Inter-System Interference in 5G system (i.e., interference between 5G BSs and UEs).
looking forward to your assistance and thank you in advance.
I can give you some conceptual answer that can help you to solve your problem.
The first step is to build a communication system model according to ITU or the 3GGP recommendations for the 5G.
Basically the system is base on a distributed cellular system with base stations located at the center of the cells.
There are transceivers at the base station and multiple users distributed randomly around the base station.
The transceiver in the base station is a massive MIMO system while that at the user uses only one antenna.
All users use the whole bandwidth and the whole time so the multiple accessing is space division multiple accessing.
In down link the signal sent to ceriman subscriber from all antennas of the base station is precoded such that the signal intended to certain user will be maximum at the that user and zero or minimum at the other users. To do the precoding one has to know the channel sate information which is the transmission coefficient of all possible channels.
One can also do the same at the users where one maximizes the signal of the intended user and minimizes the signals to the other users.
The receiver must know all the channel coefficients between it and the base station transmitters. This process is called decoding or detection.
So one can get the interference which is the signal reaching an intended user during the transmission to certain user.
As for the intercell interference one can calculate the signal reaching to the users out side the boundary of the intended cells specially those near the cell boundary.
On the light of my answer you can search for papers treating such topic and you will find detailed answer there.
Mr Zekry is giving the best way to find the solution. But ! Practically there is not exact method to evaluate it.
Anyway! Consider a Mimo cellular system theoretically in your locality for existing network ( 2g/3g/4g) .let us switch on GPS and netmonitor in your mobile phone ( at least 4 mobile phone fromsame company with same model ) and start measuring the RSSI value with constant mobility from one base station to another.
You will find the continuous decrease in RSSI but at the boundary it will be minimum after that it will increase. Repeat it several time and get the path loss index .
Now again start observation in same cell but in other direction ..you will get some difference here. Now calculate the RSSI value theoretically and practically at somewhere around the boundary .if observed value is more than theoretical value as calculated by path loss index for that respective distance.it may be interference....continues for several observation.it is the approximation method only.
