I am trying to implement DASA-IV tool with the purpose of measuring its effect in seclusion restrains and reducing staff injuries. I am also measuring staff compliance with the utilization of the tool. I am having hard time finding an appropriate tool to measure my outcomes ( which is staff compliance, seclusion and restrains rate). please if anyone have suggestion on an appropriate tool for data analysis please let me know.
From my understanding of the DASA, it is a risk assessment that could be used to identify the risk of violence, which could mean potential restraint. I think the DASA could be used if associated to proper planning to reduce restraints. You could look at the number of high dasa scores with no planning intervention and the those w care plan interventions and see how the restraint rates stack up
