T.R. Das, if initial reports are anything to go by, it appears that the coronavirus pandemic has had adverse impacts on the physical and mental well-being of not only adults but also children. It also appears that the lockdown measures may have precipitated such a state of affairs. Likewise, the deluge of hygiene measures, face masking and social distancing advice may have precipitated an uncertain climate and fear factor further triggering a state of psycho-social imbalance. many children did not have access to proper food, so it had to be arranged. Also family violence grew. Couples were fighting more. These factors affect children's development.
