Image stack import in VG Studio Max 2.2

I have a set of 2160 images, each file of around 12.5 MB. The stack has to be imported together for analysis (like porosity, wall thickness etc.). If all the images are imported, it takes me around 1 and a half hours on a 128 GB RAM workstation. Is there any way to make this import procedure faster?

Generally the problem is not in RAM amount, but in hard disk speed (or hdd matrix); I do not know this software, but your operation is probably conversion 2160 into one stack file (?); such operation is based on coping data from one place to another, its take sometime... If you have enough money you can buy 256 (or bigger) GB flash disk, working on such disk are very quckly...
