I'm making Li-Po pack of 40S1P config of pouch cells of 40 Ah. Suggest insulating materials that can be kept in between cells for thermal insulation?

Fish paper can be a good insulating sheet used for motor winding insulation

For stationary operation of the battery pack you may use air. If it is used in a mobile application I would suggest to use a material that also fixes the cells in their position like foam materials or expanded polysterene. Could you please give more hints on the type of application and the desired electrical loads?
