Mentioned saying is related to digital age similar cases like Nokia, Yahoo, MSN and Motorola failed to evolved in digital age and now we know the consequences.

There are many things, often unpleasant or tedious, that have nothing to do with success or failure. I consider such a "slogan" to be a gross shortening of the work involved in the scientific research process.

I've done a lot of research in my life as a researcher. But they were by no means successful in the sense that RG defines "success", i.e. through the approval and citation of colleagues and public resonance. Docch the favor of the specialized public, "success", can be at all no yardstick for scientific work (although it is very useful, if it concerns the financing of projects, to prove past "successes"). I have never learned more from my mistakes than that I - probably - made a mistake because this is the opinion of other people.

There is one perfect flaw in human evolving:

Emotions will be always slower than any development.

That give us a chance for preservation ( strategy) not only for surviving (operativity).

(R)evolutions, Ages, Eras, come as a way of human progress but more important for mankind is to overcome them as a way of social amortization.

At the other hand , human needs are constant, what keep us far away from global social success is a permanent desire to be the best ( and only).

That is why we keep only "predictive and not sustainable forms and shemas for any kind of action.

failures teach us a lot of qualities; However, since you have failed you won't be noticed much. But, when you succeed and don't stay grounded, the slightest failure will be noticed by everyone and you will be criticized to the core since you would have become successful and popular by then.

I agree with both of your contributions. It is especially interesting to talk about the current climate crisis that faces us all. The key question seems to be that not enough people at the top actually recognize that we are, if no action is taken on time, on the road to failure and hence do not seek to learn from the lessons that come with this.

The sentence is accurate only in a very limited sense. The opposite is true by refarding learned socially unacceptable (criminal) behaviour or behaviour in need of therapy. Someone who gives up learning and using all the tricks to humiliate other people, to defeat them in the competition, but sees his goal in leading a morally impeccable life, is not on the losing side, but defeats his need to learn more and more perfectly to put his own ego in the foreground. I would not be able to develop trust in people who do not tolerate failure and who only want to stand on the winning road. But that's how most people are today, for whom the most important thing is "success".

Both the statements made are absolutely true. A person who sees failure learns from the mistakes made and makes his life more worthwhile and successful, whereas when a person is very successful it is difficult for such a person to stay grounded, be modest about his/her achievements. A successful individual is always modest,kind and selfless according to me.

Different persons may have different perceptions about life at different stages of their lifetime, and success may refer to self-fulfillment, like successfully helped other mankind or take good care of themselves. In such cases, success is not in contradiction to humanity.
