Women of South Asian countries are mostly domestically bound since their childhood. They don’t get proper respect within the family and they have to just shake their hands in decision-making. There are always good listeners only due to avoid further familial disharmony. They learn from their childhood how to adjust and compromise in men’s world. Early marriage and adolescent pregnancy are endemic mostly in rural areas. Equity is almost an unheard word to them and men never want to compromise in their decision-making only for their gender stratified culture. Who will break the chain? If the woman is the victim of gender disparity within the family, then how can she dreams it at national or international level?
let's start from the family and I will be the first one.
