I am working with ragi (Eleusine coracana) and its associated weed species with three herbicides. Among these are Nomine gold (early post emergent herbicide) treated plots at 15 days after transplanting showing severe blast symptoms, susceptible to water stress.
So if anybody has worked on a related field, please provide me the reason for this?
Sorry of the confusion, what I meant to ask was: what is the chemical within the herbicide, Nominee Gold, that would cause the injury, the active ingredient. For example, the active ingredient with the herbicide Roundup is glyphosate. The rate you provided was helpful, but so will knowing the herbicide chemistry.

Did you apply deliberately water stress or not (part of the experiment)? Anyway, plants under stress are more susceptible to diseases. In your case I think there must have been a damage from the specific herbicide (inappropriate dose or stage of application sensitivity of crop plants to the active ingredient etc.), since you do not observe the symptoms for all the herbicides.

Water stress mean once in a week irrigation is provided to ragi crop. but the Bispyribac treated plots showing stress for just 3 days after applying water whereas in other herbicides treated plot it is normal. then my question is if any relation is there and the dosages are perfectly correct and application stage and time is also right.

I am almost sure that the blast symptoms you observed are due to herbicide injury (necrosis). Some herbicides cause injury (necrosis, chlorosis, stunting etc) to some crops and some may not. I think ragi is sensitive to Bispyribac than any other herbicides you tested. If it is a registered herbicide for ragi, I believe the injury symptoms (necrosis and stress looking symptoms in your case) will go away in 3-4 weeks and may not impact yields. Just keep an eye.
It is probably phytotoxic effects that you are seeing... What is the mode of action of Bispyribac sodium 10 SC? it will help us to get an idea of the injury symptoms that you are likely to get from it...
Can you also provide with the history of the plot/land.... what crop was there before the current? did you do a rotation
The herbicide bispyribac sodium 10 SC @ 25- 30g ai/ha is the recommendation in rice fields at 15-18 DAS. It is actually having good herbicidal control in rice. As most of the above herbicidal formulations contain calcium ammonium nitrate as adjuvant, there is always a better crop growth upon application in rice. But, in ragi it was applied as an early post emergence herbicide and probably might have caused phytotoxixity. Moreover ragi is supposed to be less hardy than rice seedlings at early stages of growth. The response of ragi to the specific adjuvant may be tested.
