I am wondering if the connectivity between CNS and PNS is vital for the release of acetylcholine at NMJ. To what extent would the release of acetylcholine at NMJ be affected if spinal cord is injured partially or completely.
I think the acetylcholine release may not be affected by the connectivity between CNS and PNS since its a spinal reflex. I think the extent of acetylcholine release depends more on the level at which the spinal cord is transected.
Dear Dr. Abdulrazaq, please elaborate on the sentence "the extent of acetylcholine release depends more on the level at which the spinal cord is transected" what does it mean?
