If single women are so readily available, why does any man ever agree to get married?
Before unpacking this question just clarifying do you mean *never instead of ever??? As they can mean the opposite end of the spectrum!
Ahh I read it wrong the first time round. I’ve just re-read the question and understand now thanks for the clarification. Lots of potential different diverse answers to this maybe……….…. Also lots of single men so same question why do women decide to get married. Also it might be same sex marriage. Also loyalty, love, stability, finding ‘the one’, connection etc. Higher amount of divorce now so marriage doesn’t necessarily mean for life as old vows. In some cultures more freedom to escape abusive situations but still difficult for many. Some research indicates less people want to get married now due to fear their ex will take them for all their financial gain. Probably loads more what I’ve not said so it’s a good question and provokes thought! Maybe I read it wrong the first place as read some research which states growing amount of people regardless of gender choosing not to get married but not sure how robust that research is as doesn’t include a lot of countries. Also I have dyslexia and dyspraxia so certain sweeping questions I have to re-read. It’s a good style of question as so many diverse responses to this. All the best
I don't think men need to be in lover in order to want sex. Some men especially see women as a trophy and move on to the next one as soon as they have "possessed" her. Sex is clearly territorial for many men.
Thanks for commenting Stanley & giving your personal experience. There is so much taboo over discussing sexuality even among sexologists. This makes it very difficult to make any progress in improving our understanding of this personal topic that is so vital for our overall happiness.
