while setting up parameters in Fluent I have used like these:
Used Boussinesq approximation and using nondimensionalized I put volume expansion coefficient as Ri/g(=10) so for Ri= -1 case I set my cylinder temperature as 299 and my fluid temperature as 300 and volume expansion coefficient 0.1
is this the right way for opposing Buoyancy condition(Ri=-1)?

Reynolds number is a dimensionless number, it isnot a vector it is defined as the ratio of viscous stress to the inertial stress. It describes the nature of the flow whether it is laminar or turbulent. Assuming Re number as negative have no physical meaning.
