If I have the same equation, and I wanna use it in two different chapters of my dissertation how can I write it, and which of the following way is correct?
1- can I write the equation in both chapters as follows:
i.e, In chapter-3 P=n.z.I (3.1)
I.e, In chapter-4 P=n.z.I (4.1)
2- or can I write it in the first chapter and I just mention it in the other chapter without writing the equation again.
i.e, In chapter-3 P=n.z.I (3.1) and I will just mention it in chapter-4 i.e, as expressed before in chapter-3 equation-(3.1)
If any of the above ways is not correct, please tell me the right way and support me with documents or references even a thesis if available.

I think you can't write one equation two times, just you have to invite or mention it when you need.

I thank that both versions are possible. It may be better to repeat it in the second chapter if this helps to understand your derivations. But in this case you may add a note (e.g. footnote) that eq. (4.1) is identical with eq. (3.1).
