I want to know about specific energy variation in diamond core drilling operation.i.e " If Drill bit diameter increases whether specific specific energy increase or decrease?." In my case the drill bit diameter increases the specific energy decreases in diamond core drilling operation. Is it correct? Kindly clarify me.

In case of drilling in the linear part of ROP(WOB) curve (a.k.a. efficient bit condition) MSE does not depend on the bit diameter.
Rocks MSE is ~ UCS. Calculated MSE depends on inefficiencies bit suffers. In this case MSE may decrease with increase drill bit diameter. I can assume stick slip in your case.

On a conventional PDC bit, of radius R with N cutters, each of diameter D; an estimate of the mean cross sectional area of cut is given by (R.f) / (N.D); where f is the translation per revolution.
Therefore, A smaller mean cross sectional area of cut increases the energy per foot drilled and the footage. Of course, caution must be exercised in avoiding excessively large depths of cut so as to avoid fracture of cutting edges. With non-rotating cutting structures (or cutters), larger depths of cut may cause excessive thermal wear.
