If CuO is added in a small weight percent (upto 5 wt.%) into alpha alumina and sintered at 1600C, then what kind of phases I may expect?
The most probable existence of copper is Cu(I) at high temperature in air. There could be some CuAlO2 at the interface between Cu2O and Al2O3
