Dear all,

I've been experimenting with different slurry compositions for electrode casting and I have a couple questions (I use a Dr Blade).

I noticed that CMC+SBR works great for the anode but I don't know if they can be a good solution for the cathode too. Has someone tried? I also have PVDF and IMP.

Which thickness do you aim to reach before and after calendering?

I can use both Acetylene black or active graphite as conductive powder, can the second one be used for casting the cathode?

I plan to build half cells coin batteries with lithium metal as counter electrode to identify which composition/thickness/method is the best. Which characterisation or value would you look at? I was thinking to do some impedance and cycling performance tests.

Thanks is advance for any help you can provide, if you have a link to a very detailed report or dissertation I would gladly read it.
