The survival and growth of SMEs depends on two factors: micro and macro environment. The micro aspect is constituted of the age, gender, educational level and entrepreneurial capacity of the operator. Equally, the business and legal environment such as access to credit, government regulation, and generally how the government policy is an enabling or not to the small business operators definitely affect the sustainability and growth of SMEs. But, we have to be clear, both of these factors are not mutually exclusive; good business environment without good entrepreneurship skill or entrepreneurship without conductive environment cannot produce good fruits.
Businesses with declared environmental objectives, to reduce the environmental impact with the establishment and commercialization of a product or service, can be an independent variable, and a variable intervening can be the continuous improvement in reducing the Pollution from the company's waste.
