I have been working on fossil fungi since 1972 and have published several papers and a book on fossil fungi "Saxena R.K. & Tripathi S.K.M. 2011. Indian Fossil Fungi. The Palaeobotanist 60(1): 1-208” (pdf file attached). Recently, I came to know about project “Outline of Fungi”. I am willing to be associated with this project in order to contribute information regarding fossil fungi to this project. Please advise.

I am not leading this project, just supporting it in the context of my role as curator of Index Fungorum and member of the NCF (to ensure any new nomenclature is Code compliant). I forget who is leading it but Kevin Hyde is probably the co-ordinator. I will be adding names of fossil fungi to the Catalogue of Life 2020 so your attachment will prove useful. I am, of course, aware of your work on fossil fungi.

What a superb compilation! The current project, however, is managed by Professor Hyde's group in Thailand and is not currently covering fossil fungi. I am, however, very pleased to know of your work and wonder if there is any chance of a hard-copy as I find PDFs difficult to work with?

My research interests are related to the study of the ecology of xylotrophic basidiomycetes and current trends in the development of their communities under the influence of anthropogenic factors. Under the project description it states:
"Goal: Providing the taxonomic outline of the kingdom Fungi. The Outline will be based on recent publications of Outline of Ascomycota (Wijayawardene et al. 2018; FUDI 88: 167-263), Notes for genera of Basal Clades of Fungi (Wijayawardene et al. 2018; submitted to FUDI) and Notes for genera of Basidiomycota (He et al. (2018; in prep.)."
