In Algeria, this is allowed, and there are many thesis containing two methods of econometrics, whether it is a matter of different programs such as eviews and stata or the test ardl and panel, you have to make sure of this by reviewing previous theses whether they contain it or not, especially doctoral theses
It is OK if you apply two or more econometric models in your research. Only thing is that they should not be left in silos. You should compare the findings from those models.
To the best of my knowledge, it is possible and allowed to employ more than one econometrics methods , provided their individual results are robust and consistent to explaining your research objective(s).
I think it is perfectly OK but you'll need to reconcile the outcomes. If properly done, one method can serve as a reliability and validity check on the other. All assuming that both methods are appropriate for the research project.

If it is for the sake of checking the validity of the mathematical relationships or in order to know the extent of the validity of the interdependence that exists between the economic variables, but all this depends on the economic data and its data, are they correct and realistic indicators or not?
