Check random.org, check the important application of random number generation to find big prime numbers to compose an rsa semi-prime, check the application of random number generation to generate initial solutions for genetic algorithms, or the applications to any random sample generation for statistics. There are plenty of applications of your line of work that would benefit from better performing random number generators.
